Eastbourne RNLI fundraiser and long standing supporter Frank Wellbelove presented a cheque for £1000 to lifeboat Coxswain Mark Sawyer at ‘The Inn on the Park’ at Deanland Wood Park this weekend   

Frank, who has been a governor of the RNLI for over 30 years and member of the Eastbourne RNLI fundraising committee, along with his wife Jane organise regular events such as raffles and theme evenings to support the lifeboat and to date their efforts have raised £8250 for the charity. In accepting the cheque Mark thanked Frank and his fellow residents at Deanland Wood Park for their continued support and said that this latest contribution will be added to the new lifeboat appeal.
