For the fifth consecutive year specialist running shop Tempo, based in Susans Road has held a 10k fun run in support of Eastbourne lifeboats

This ever popular event took place on 30th September and once again was fully subscribed with 300 runners taking part. Chris Dodd of Eastbourne Rovers AC was first across the line in a time of 33.42 the winner of the ladies section was Sue Fry of Hailsham Harriers in a time of 39.55. Tempo’s owner and founder Wes Melchen presented a cheque for £250 to lifeboat treasurer Keith Stevens and some of the crew at this weekend’s training session.
