Staff at the Eastbourne branch of Day Lewis Pharmacy held a fun day back in the balmy days of June with Eastbourne lifeboats chosen as the favoured charity for donations received.

The event included such things as guessing the amount of sweets in a jar and naming a teddy bear, along with homemade produce supplied by staff and customers raised a substantial amount of money which was more than doubled by the company’s head office to a grand total of £1336. The cheque was presented to Lifeboat Treasurer Keith Stevens and some of the crew by shop manager Rinita Dangol and staff members Kirstie Francis, Rosemary Reid and Alex Moss.
